If you wish to buy our Lenjoy 1 Day Comfort lenses, you should know the necessary parameters. The contact lens parameters can be found in the prescription of your optician or ophthalmologist.
Please note that the data obtained by the Optician or Ophthalmologist should not be older than one year, as the parameters of the eyes change with age.
The base curve of a contact lens describes the curvature of the lens in millimetres, to provide the highest comfort while wearing lenses, i.e. how well the lens attaches to your eye. Normally these parameters are between 8–10 mm.
The sphere is the power of the contact lens. The unit of measure for sphere power is a diopter or D. In general, the spherical power of a lens is indicated with a plus sign (+) for hyperopia and a minus sign (-) for myopia.
This value is the diameter (or size) of the lens. Soft contact lenses have a larger diameter ranging from 13.00 to 15.00 mm compared to hard contact lenses that range from 9.00 to 10.00 mm.
A great alternative
Lenjoy 1 Day Comfort are comparable to many other well-known contact lens brands. Just like the Soflens Daily Disposables from Bausch & Lomb, our lenses are lightly tinted to make it easier for our customers to insert them. They also have a UV filter which is similar to the one found in Johnson & Johnson 1-Day Acuvue Moist lenses.
But Lenjoy also has some advantages over other lenses in their price range: Their power goes from -10.00 to +6.00 and is more comprehensive than all other comparable contact lenses. In addition, our lenses feature the comfortable 'Soft Edge' design.
